I am now retired after 35 years the National Research Council Canada, 25 years as the corporate photographer . I continue to teach at Algonquin College in Ottawa where I present an introduction course Basic Digital Photography which includes an introduction to Photoshop. I also lead a workshop in Advanced Adobe Camera Raw / Lightroom for experienced users. I enjoy the extra time I have now to work on my classes as well get out there and spend more time shooting for myself.

On this site are the photographs I take for myself. Many are taken on expeditions with my friend David Stevenson. We belong to a very elite photo club; The Photographic Society and League of Gentlemen Adventurers of the Dominion of Canada, National Capital region. It's just he and I. We like to think it's because we have such high standards.
